Creative Ways to Help Your Customers Get to Know You
Create a Greater Connection with Your Audience
Have you met Mellow Marcy, Talented Tiffany, Tenacious Tonya, or Jaunty Judith?
Well, if you haven’t in my opinion you are missing out.
Mellow Marcy, Talented Tiffany, Tenacious Tonya, and Jaunty Judith are all Vital Farms free-range chickens! These happy chicks provide eggs to people across the US.
Each month Vital Farms Egg cartons inclue a new 3×4 double-sided card with information about an individual chicken such as their name or what they like to eat. There is also company news from how these companies treat their animals including humane practices in order that everyone can live happily ever after (pun intended).
Wouldn’t you love to name chickens for a job! 😉
The way Vital Farms cares about the environment and chickens makes me a loyal customer even if I have to pay an extra dollar or two for their cartons. Their commercials are hilarious as well!
And then there is Juana R. and Marisol. These are women who both work for NatureSweet Cherubs Tomatoes company. How do I know that?
When you peel off the top label that says: “Peel Here to Lettuce Out!” on of the little carton {hahaha – oh I love it when companies add a bit of humor in little ways} the employees are showcased on the underside of the label with a simple black and white illustration and a website URL to their 30-sec video.
Does it matter? Would it help your business if we showcased those you care about at our company? If your business cares about its team members like these folks seem to be doing over here from Nature Sweet Cherub’s Tomatoes Company, why not show them off? What do you think?
The answer is YES, YES, YES!
This company is confident enough in their employees to showcase them. The messages give the audience a greater connection with the brand, and it feels good for anyone who’s spotlighted! I imagine Juana, Marisol, and the chickens feel pretty honored to be in households all over America.
IT WORKS!
We started doing this with a Denver bike shop, Elevation Cycles. You might think that we’re just talking about bicycles, but not for long. The feedback has been amazing from this Denver bike shop and it’s all thanks to our monthly newsletter. We showcase a couple of photos with some facts in the text below each employee’s photo every month (see below). With four locations around Denver, Colorado, they have lots of employees – so much more than most shops you’ll find stateside! Our goal is to create a greater connection to their customers, creating a stronger community.
So I ask you – how could you do this with your company or brand?
